SARA N. CLARK
Sara Clark is a registered Attorney in the State of Colorado, admitted to the bar 2013. She attended law school and obtained her J.D. at the University of Colorado, Boulder. As the President of the Sports Law Club, she helped oversee an informal pro bono clinic to engage law school students in the representation of Olympic-Athletes through the oversight of a licensed attorney. She participated in a pro bono Family Law clinic, representing low-income clients. She strives to ensure that limited monetary resources do not affect ones opportunity to receive necessary legal representation. During law school, she also worked part-time at the USOC in the Athlete Ombudsman office under the supervision of John Ruger. Sara has worked at the USOC since 2011.
Sara attended U.C.L.A. as an undergraduate, majoring in English and Sociology. She received All-American honors as a Diver on the UCLA Swim and Dive Team. She was a two-time MVP, awarded Academic Athletic honors for her four years of eligibility, and placed third at the Senior National Championships. She continues her diving career competing in national masters events.
She has completed an IronMan, hiked Mt. Kilmanjaro, kayaked down the Grand Canyon, raised over $5000 for the Lymphoma Society, taught English in Indonesia and Thailand, and has traveled to over 30 countries. Her mother, Candice Clark, is a 1976 Olympian in the sport of Kayaking.
