  • How'd you get started? Krisztina Fazekas Zur was born and raised in Hungary. At the age of ten, she and her sister followed their brother to the local kayak club, the first step to her becoming a member of the national canoe and kayak team. As a member of the Hungarian National Team, she won four world championship titles. In 2010, Krisztina moved to the United States after marrying three-time United States Olympic kayaker Rami Zur.
