  • Bethany was born with Fibular Hemimelia and Rroximal Femoral Focal Deficiency, two congenital disorders. Her right foot was amputated at 2 years old as a result of the disorders
  • She began playing volleyball in 2005 at Fallon Middle School
  • Bethany’s sister, Hailey and Megan Zummo, have played Division I lacrosse for Saint Mary’s College of California
  • Bethany’s hobbies include sewing, weaving and painting
  • After her volleyball career, Bethany hopes to open her own clothing business to create customized clothing and art
