Eric graduated from Adolfo Camarillo High School in 2004 and graduated from Cal State Northridge in 2008 with a degree in Economics, Magna Cum Laude with a Department of Economics Certificate of Excellence… His favorite book is Dog Gone It by Spencer Quinn… Eric’s favorite band is Linkin Park and his favorite movie is You Don’t Mess With The Zohan… He admires his mother and father because, “they are two people that have been there for me no matter what and were always behind me 100 percent in anything I was doing. They are the two best people I have or ever will meet and the two people I respect the most.”

INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS: 2011 - Played on the U.S. Pan American Games Team in Guadalajara, Mexico. 2010 - Played the winter of 2011 for Chaumont in France's B league... Played for Team Paul Mitchell at the FIVB Club World Championship in Doha, Qatar. 2009 - Played the winter of 2009-10 in Puerto Rico.

COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS: 2009 - First Team All-American… Cal State Northridge Varsity Outstanding Scholar Athlete. 2008 - Started in all 29 matches and appeared in 102 of Northridge's 109 sets... named AVCA First Team All-American, the first since Doug English in 2003 and the first Matador named to the Asics/Volleyball All-American First Team since Nils Nielsen in 2005...named to the MPSF All-Tournament TEam... led Northridge in kills (459), kills per set (4.50), total attacks (1035), service aces (52) and points (544.5)... posted a team-best five double-doubles during the season, giving him seven in his career... named to the MPSF Academic ALl-Conference Team. 2007- Appeared in all 33 matches and 113 of 119 sets... garnered Honorable Mention All-MPSF honors... finished second in kills (344) and kills per set (3.04) for the Matadors...Had a team-high 46 service aces, ranking him third in the MPSF and 13th in the nation for aces... MPSF Academic All-Conference Team. 2006 - Appeared in 27 matches as a redshirt freshman... finished third on the team in kills (240) and was fourth in kills per game (2.55)... named MPSF Academic All-Conference.
