Personal

Ryan started shooting on his high school team. The team shot mostly sporter air and smallbore rifle. His sophomore year he decided to switch to Olympic style air shooting. In 2001, Ryan made the National Development Team with his performance at the National Junior Olympic Championships. Two years later, he made the National Team with his Silver Medal win at the National Championships. Ryan graduated in 2006 from the University of Nevada in Reno with a major in psychology and a minor in Japanese.

Ryan has a passion for cars. He enjoys working on them, and as a result, he owns two. When he is not working on cars, Ryan enjoys fishing, photography and watching the Discovery Channel.
