I could not live without… chocolate...and the love and support of my family and friends.

My favorite place in the world is… how can you pick just one??!

My dream vacation spot is… anywhere I can relax and enjoy the sun and sea!

When traveling, the thing I miss the most is… my family and my boyfriend.

My favorite meal is… my dad’s chicken curry.

My favorite television show is…  Glee

I never leave my house without… (I never travel without… a great book)

My favorite quote is…  “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.” –Henry Ford

If I were not an athlete, I would be…  still involved in sports in some way.

For the 2011 season, I expect to be…  better than last year!  My goals include being in the top-30 overall ranking and competing in all mass start races.

More on Sara:

Sara is a Boise, Idaho native currently living in Lake Placid, New York at the US Olympic Training Center. Sara graduated from Dartmouth College in June 2007 and moved to Lake Placid to begin training as a member of the US Biathlon Team. During the 07-08 season, she competed internationally in Europa Cups and was the overall 2008 North American Cup Champion and was the top US athlete at the 2008 Canadian Nationals. These results helped move her up to the National "B" Team. This year, she hopes to compete in World Cups and at the World Championships in Korea. "Ultimately my goals include making the National "A" Team and qualifying for the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, BC, Canada."

In 2007, she captained the Dartmouth team to their first NCAA title in over thirty years, and was named an All-American in the 5K freestyle race. Sara was also the women's freestyle EISA points leader in 2007.
