Fun Facts:

Last marathon she ran was in 1994 ... has helped athletes like Mia Hamm, Paul Hamm, Blaine Wilson and Gabby Douglas, develop lasting relationships with Olympic sponsors and the USOC … her favorite Olympic moments include the Opening Ceremony at the Beijing, Vancouver and London Games, watching the U.S. women win four team golds in Atlanta, and organizing Paul Hamm’s defense of his All-Around gold medal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport ... was taught to compete in sports by her next door neighbors and sometimes won against them

Has developed packages and raised significant funding for the Yosemite National Park Fund, Ken Burns film underwriting, National Parks Foundation and Chelsea Piers Scholarship Fund

Excited to run for Team USA because she has worked so closely with USOC staff, athletes, sponsors, coaches and volunteers who give 100 percent everyday to uphold the highest ideals of individual and team sports in the United States ... running in the marathon is her small contribution to honor this entire community and to inspire the youth of tomorrow
