2009 - Cadet Women's Epee in Goteborg, Sweden, 3rd place.


How did you start fencing?
I had heard about it when I was younger from someone on a high school team and it sounded interesting.

What has been your favorite moment while fencing?
Winning the Cadet event at the Junior Olympics.

What is your motivation?
To keep improving and become the best fencer I can.

Who has influenced your fencing career and how?
My coach and the program at the New York Athletic Club because they support me and give me the tools needed to improve.

What are your goals this year and in the future?
My goal is to do well nationally and internationally and make future teams.

How do you train?
I bout and take lessons at the club 4 days a week and go to the gym and have a personal trainer 2 days out of the week.

What are some of the biggest hurdles / challenges you've had to overcome in your fencing career?
Last year missing worlds by one touch and being very upset.

What is something people would be surprised to know about you?
I love red velvet cupcakes.
