Bill Schuffenhauer helped the U.S. end the 46-year medal drought in the sport of bobsled by pushing Todd Hays to a silver medal at the 2002 Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Schuffenhauer teamed with Steven Holcomb at the 2006 Olympic Games in Torino, Italy to finish sixth in four-man and 14th in two-man competition.  Following the 2006 Games, Schuffenhauer retired from bobsled, but decided to make a comeback, returning with Hays for the 2008-2009 season.  He helped push Hays to a 9th place finish at the 2009 World Championships.

In his free time, Schuffenhauer enjoys spending time with his his two children, Skyy Belle and Corben. He would like to thank all of his family and friends back home and across the country for all of their love and support..
