Getting to know Sarah Rodriguez
Favorite book: “The Catcher in the Rye”
Favorite movie: “The Silence of the Lambs”
Biggest athletic thrill: Completing a specific, long duration, sprinting swimming set; I felt myself staying in the moment and getting stronger as I went, and knew that because of that feeling of strength, intensity and lack of any sort of fear, this is the center of my universe/where I’m supposed to be
Person to meet: I would love the chance to meet with various film directors, such as Martin Scorsese and Jonathan Demme
Favorite animal: Dogs often help bring me back to center when I become emotional and/or overwhelmed with varying aspects of life
Musical act/performer live: To see Talking Heads live would be amazing; I would very much like to see The 1975 and Incubus live
Pet peeve: When people prolong the ends of their words, such as "yesssssss"
Motto: Don't just do something, immerse yourself in it; let the music sink into your bloodstream: exist.
Luxury item I can't be without: My iPhone - it houses more than I can say
Spare time: Annotating books/reviewing my previous annotations, researching the formation of the universe, creating movements and shapes with my body to varying pieces of music in front of the mirror
