Began Taekwondo at age 12 in Philippines under Master Elmer Pato...his brother, Luis Reyes, has been the biggest influence in his martial arts training...his father, sister, sister-in-law, and wife are all black belts in Taekwondo, and his two nephews and 2-year-old daughter are on their way to earning theirs as well...he cross-trains in Kali (Philippino stick fighting art) and has competed in full contact stick fighting tournaments...enjoys teaching and spending quality time with his family...loves hanging out at Santa Monica Beach to relax or to surf...credits the support from his parents, the Kings Taekwondo family and, most of all, his wife...says his motivation for everything comes from his daughter, Monica...credits his success to the help of coach Scott Fujii and all of his teammates.
