Personal: Member of US Disabled Alpine Ski Team 1997-2000, Member of 1998 Nagano Paralympic Alpine Ski Team , Founded Coyote Design & Mfg. ( in 1999 (prosthetic component manufacturer). Founded the Tube Trot and Trike Triathlon (, a fundraising event for Challenged Athlete Foundation. Born with PFFD, resulting in a short left leg, “above the knee amputee.”

Triathlon career: 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006  ITU Triathlon World Champion in the TRI-2 category. 3rd at 2005 ITU World Championships. 2nd Place 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010 Paratriathlon Triathlon National Championships.

Athletic background: Began wrestling as a kid, played lots of basketball growing up before turning to ski racing. Ski raced full time from 1994 to 2002. Did first triathlon to help improve stamina for ski racing, did my next tri after retiring from ski racing and becoming chubby.
