USA VOLLEYBALL HIGHLIGHTS: 2013 Selected to the Men’s Junior National Training Team. 2012 Selected to the Men’s Junior National Training Team that earned first place at the NORCECA Men’s Junior Continental Championship. 2011 – Selected as member of the Boys’ Youth National Training Team and was chosen as an alternate… Attended the Boys’ Youth National Holiday Camp…Competed in the Youth A2 Tournament and earned first place and selected to the All-Tournament team. 2010 Member of the Boys’ Youth National Training Team… Attended the 2010 Boys’ Youth A2 Camp and the Holiday Boys’ Camp. 2009 Attended the Boys' Select A1 Camp in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. ... Attended the Youth National Holiday Camp.

CLUB/PREP HIGHLIGHTS: 2011 –  USA Volleyball High Performance Boys’ Youth A2 Gold Medalist and All-Tournament selection… Nick placed first at the USA Volleyball Boys’ Junior National Championship in the Open Division and was named to the All-Tournament Team… Named to Wisconsin Boys’ Volleyball First Team All-State in 2011… Won the 2009 Wisconsin Boys’ Volleyball State Championship... Named to Volleyball Magazine's "Fab 50" in 2012.

COLLEGE: 2013 – Nick plays at Loyola University… Saw action in 96 sets as a freshman… Chalked up 145 kills, 95 total blocks and added 20 digs. 

PERSONAL: Born Nicholas David Olson (1993)  in West Allis, Wisc. … Parents are David and Virginia Olson…Nick has two sisters, Jaclyn (1990) and Natalie (1995)… He is currently studying psychology at Loyola University-Chicago… Nick started his volleyball career in 2004 playing for West Allis Lightning…His favorite foods is chili and hot boneless wings…his favorite book is The Talent Code… Favorite musical genre is alternative and favorite band is Red Hot Chili Peppers…Nick’s favorite movie is Zoolander and favorite actor is Will Ferrel… Nick lists the Green Bay Packers as his favorite team and their quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, as his favorite athlete… His hobbies include watching/playing sports, listening to music, tennis, video games and hanging out with friends.... His most admired person is his father because he was his first volleyball coach and always pushed Nick to do his best... Nick's favorite moments are winning the MIVA Conference Tournament and earning a spot in the 2013 NCAA Men’s Final Four.
