The middle child in a family of pro snowboarding heavy hitters, Jack Mitrani kills the pipe with older sister, Liza, and brother, Luke. When parents Al and Cindy realized that the family was destined to live out of a suitcase to ride, they packed up shop from Stratton, Vt., and made the move to Mammoth Lakes, Calif., to capitalize on the extended season. Mitrani now calls the Unbound Park home from October to July, when not ruling the contest scene around the globe.
The Mammoth rider has been busy shredding, and thanks to all the time on snow, Mitrani has had standout performances in the pipe. With quality quarterpipe airs and superpipe hits, Mitrani's got the chops to take things to the next level.
When little brother, Luke ,and Jack first saw snowboarding, they thought it looked a lot more fun than skiing, so they tried it. When all of their friends started competing, they joined the fun.
"When I'm not snowboarding, I like to skateboard, play any sport I can play...basketball, baseball, soccer and surfing."
