Born: 1993

For Linney, it was curiosity or maybe a calling that led him down the road from where he lived to join a local hockey club. His spontaneity proved rewardful and his passion for the pitch only grew. Out of all the other sports Linney has played, this was the one that pushed him the hardest. He is currently playing in Rome with HC Roma, gaining more international experience to apply to Team USA, and is on their Italia fantasy field hockey league online – a personal life achievement.

Favorite Sports Quote:
“I’ve wrestled with alligators,
I’ve tussled with a whale.
I done handcuffed lightning
And throw thunder in jail.
You know I’m bad.
just last week, I murdered a rock,
Injured a stone, Hospitalized a brick.
I’m so mean, I make medicine sick.” - Muhammad Ali
