International Highlights: 2008: NORCECA Junior Championships in El Salvador (Bronze medal). 2007: World Youth Championships in Mexico. 2006: NORCECA Youth Championship in Dominican Republic (Silver medal).

USA Volleyball Highlights: 2008: Member of the US Men's Junior National Team that finished third at the FIVB Junior World Championships in El Salvador and qualified for the 2009 FIVB World Championship. 2007: Member of the U.S. Boys' Youth National Team that finished 15th at the FIVB Youth World Championship in Tijuana and Mexicali, Mexico. 2006: Member of U.S.  Boys' Youth National Team that finished second at the NORCECA Continental Championships in Bayaguana, Dominican Republic and qualified for the 2007 World Championship. Jaynes was named Best Blocker for the event.

Collegiate Highlights: 2009: Jaynes was fourth in the MPSF and sixth nationally in blocks, averaging 1.42... Also averaged 1.60 kills while hitting .410... Started 26 of 27 matches and appeared in 99 games... Made the MPSF All-Tournament team after some of his best offensive performances of the season... Had a season-high 12 kills in the final vs. USC (5/2), with 10 kills against Long Beach State in the quarterfinals (4/25) and nine in the semifinals vs. Cal State Northridge (4/30)... Also averaged 1.69 blocks and hit .491 in the tournament... Reached double-figure kills three times, also getting 11 vs. Stanford (1/24)... Posted a season-high 12 blocks at UC San Diego (3/7)... Had 17 matches with five or more blocks. 2008: Started 20 matches as a freshman middle blocker... Played in 23 matches and 77 games... Averaged 1.30 kills and 1.18 blocks while hitting .486 (100-16-173) in his limited swings... Had season highs of 14 kills and 16.0 points vs. California Baptist (3/22) and came within one swing of setting the school record for single-match hitting percentage... He finished at an .875 (14-0-16) clip against CBU... Also broke into double-digit kills with 10 vs. UCLA (1/25) while hitting .643 (10-1-14)... Had 10 blocks at UC Santa Barbara (3/15)...
