Facts: Since he was born, Josiah Jamison had retinitis pigmentosa - a hereditary eye disease that affects peripheral and night vision. He was introduced to racing at the South Carolina School for the Deaf and Blind in Spartanburg by Jack Todd, a staff member at the school, and Ryal Mitchell, a teammate from the 2008 U.S. Paralympic Team. Since 2008, Jamison has been competing in the Paralympic Games.
