INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS: 2008 – Provided four points splitting time at setter on a three-week, eight-match tour of China…Added 13 digs…Played in five sets at the Pan American Cup, including a start against Mexico on June 2 that led to a sweep. 2007 - Played in three sets during the Pan American Cup…Started the first two matches of the Pan American Games recording two kills on four attacks. 2006 – Played in all 25 sets of a seven-match tour of Italy (March 22 to April 2) with the USA National Training Team … Started at setter versus Poland on May 26…Played in three sets during the World Grand Prix as the backup setter…Started all 17 sets of the U.S. played in the TV Azteca Cup…Ranked second among all players at the TV Azteca Cup in assist average with 5.24 per set…Played one set during World Championships as the backup setter.
COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS: After her senior season in 2005, Hunter became the first Missouri volleyball players to be named to the AVCA All-American First Team. The senior was earlier named AVCA All-Central Region and All-Big 12 for the third-consecutive season. The Tiger setter has lead the Big 12 in assists per game in each of her four years at Mizzou, becoming the first Big 12 student-athlete to finish a season leading the same statistical category in every year of eligibility. Her 14.22 assists per game in 2005 paced her to 13.73 for her career, putting her sixth all-time in NCAA history in the category. Hunter also accumulated 6,096 assists, finishing 15th in NCAA history in that category. In addition, in her career at Mizzou, Hunter has added 2.40 digs per game and 0.32 aces per game. As a team, Hunter led Mizzou to a .299 hitting percentage in the season, an all-time high for a Tiger squad.

Are you a morning person, afternoon person or night person?
Definitely a morning person. Sometimes it’s hard to get up, but once I’m up I love the mornings because of the sunrise and my favorite meal of the day, breakfast. I also feel like I’m not missing out on anything in the day when I’m up early.
What is your pre-match ritual?
I don’t really have any superstitions or crazy routines that I go through. I just love listening to music, dancing around, and being funny.
On an airplane, would you rather, sleep, read, work on a computer or talk with the person sitting next to you?
I could sleep on any plane, any time, anywhere. Unless of course there is a man in the middle seat who brings out his 20” computer and types with his elbows out the whole flight!
What is your favorite volleyball drill?
Surprisingly, I love any drill having to do with defense.
What sport would you be competing in if not for volleyball?
Probably softball. I had to choose between the 2 in high school because they were in the same season. Volleyball has worked out pretty well though ;)

The fall. I love sweatshirt and jeans weather, college football games, the colors on the trees changing, and it means it’s getting closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas.

My computer, digital camera, movies, ipod, nap pillow, cell phone. I’d be really bored without technology!

When people try to get on an elevator before the people already on it can get out.
