How’d you get started with the sport? I was 12 years old when my mom found an ad in the local new paper about Gig Harbor Canoe Club. My parents took me down to paddle and I loved the challenge and continue to love the challenge to this day.

Based in Gig Harbor, Wash., GHCKRT won its second consecutive Sprint National Championship team title under Head Coach Alan Anderson. The club takes home the Yonkers Trophy with 28 athletes accumulating 473.5 points.
