Aaron Matthew Henslin resides in Screven, Georgia. Aaron started shooting archery at the age of 14 because he thought it looked fun. The fun has transpired into success for Henslin who is coached by Larry Skinner. During the 2009 season Henslin has placed first in his divisions at the USAA Indoor Nationals by placing 4th, finishing 1st at the Indoor World Team Trials, and also finishing 1st at the Illinois Cup. In late June Henslin competed with a group of junior archers competing in Venezuela. In the junior division Henslin took first place amongst the international competitors. Coming up in July, Henslin will be representin the USA at the 2009 Junior World Champoinships in Ogden, UT.
Along with enjoying archery Aaron enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time. To date he lists his greatest accomplishments as making 3 World Teams. His goal over the next year is to continue his recent success in Venezuela and follow with success in Utah.
