Quotable Elias Guting: "In 2005 I went to the Philippines with a team from California and competed in the Philippine national championships and the Samsung Best of the Best tournament, under-15 division. I stopped competing in Taekwondo in 2007 because I lost interest in it and started doing other forms of martial arts. I want to thank Master Troy Garr and Master Leonard Ortez for bringing me back to the sport of Olympic-style TKD."
