  • London 2012 Games, purchased tickets to the Games a year in advance, in hopes that one of her best friends from Yale Crew would make the U.S. Women’s Rowing Team, going to Eton Dorney and representing the USA in a sea of Brits was a once-in-a-lifetime experience

  • After an undefeated collegiate rowing season, won the Head of the Charles and the Ivy League Championship

Fun Facts:
She is a twin ... works in tech public relations in her hometown, Boston … is incredibly superstitious and will wear something on race day that is imbued with some kind of “meaning” … favorite memory from the 2012 Games was cheering on friends from the shore

Fundraising Experience:

Helped fundraise for Community Rowing's $1.6 million dollar Harry Parker Boathouse in Boston and is part of the Yale Women's Crew fundraising campaign to raise $1 million to endow the head coach position and the women's crew program

Was inspired to run for Team USA because she was fortunate enough to attend the London 2012 Olympic Games and watch several former rowing teammates compete (and win!). She also wanted to help support athletes achieve their dreams on the Olympic stage since she, as a former athlete, can relate with the dedication and single-mindedness that these athletes possess.
