Fun Facts: Out of curiosity, Michelle began archery in 2005 by walking into an indoor archery range at Bull Run Shotgun Range in Virginia. She learned archery was an Olympic sport and received her first instruction there from Olympian Ruth Rowe. Michelle began to train seriously when she joined the Junior Dream Team in 2008. Michelle has designed and built an autonomous hovercraft to compete in the University of Maryland competition (Team2Fly). She has played the guitar since age 6, specializing in classical concert repertoire. Michelle also enjoys other shooting sports, hiking and skiing.
