Jessica Gibbs



Jesscia Gibbs is a Junior Female Recurve Archer hailing from Burton, Michigan.  Jessica began shooting archery at the age of 11 while attending girls scouts and going hunting with her father.  Currently Jessica is coached by Richard Anderson.  Along with competing in archery, Gibbs enjoys writing and volunteering with organizations in and around her hometown. 

Jessica lists her greatest achievements as making the Wrold Team the last two years and competing in Venezuela.  Her goal for the upcoming 2009 Junior World Championships is to place well and try to bring home a medal.  In the future years her goal is to gain acceptance into Texas A&M to study algebra and become a math teacher.  Along with her goals of attending Texas A&M she looks to qualify for future Senior World Teams. 

The greatest influences in her life have been her father and coach.  When struggling with technique and wanting to quit, her father and coach wouldn't let her quit and swayed her to continue with her form.  Continuing with her form allowedg her success on the archery field, placing her on two world teams!
