Bobsled and Skeleton
Cherrelle Garrett went from personal trainer to World Cup Bobsled athlete literally overnight. Her hard work and determination to succeed has made her a strong competitor during her first season, 2012-2013 with the women of Team USA bobsled.
Garrett is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, and received her Bachelors of Art in Social Science. She started her athletic career in high school, where she was at the top of her game in Track and Field. Then during her tenure at CAL, she continued to break records in both individual and relay events. It’s no mystery that she is now a solid Brakeman, where her speed and agility are being taken to new heights as she stays the course en route to Sochi 2014.
Cherrelle is a natural lover of health and fitness. She enjoys quality time with friends and family, a good comedy movie, the latest music craze, fun fashion trends, and all things seafood. She lives by the mantra, “for we walk by faith…not by sight.” Corinthians 5:7
