Finished the 2010 ITU World Championship Series ranked as the No. 4 American and 60th overall • Ranked as the No. 2 cyclist in the 2010 ITU WCS segment rankings • Winner of four straight San Diego International Triathlons (2007-10) • Was 19th at the 2010 Hy-Vee ITU Elite Cup in West Des Moines, Iowa • Finished 14th at the 2010 ITU World Championship Series opener in Sydney and was 27th in Seoul • Posted three top-six finishes in ITU Pan American Cup races in 2010 — La Paz (second), Vina del Mar (fourth) and Salinas (sixth) • Winner of the Desert Classic Duathlon • Wwo-time Desert Classic Duathlon champion (2009-10) • First-place finisher at the 2009 Lima ITU Pan American Cup race • Placed ninth at the 2009 USA Triathlon Elite National Championship.
Amateur Triathlon Career:
Claimed wins at the Santa Barbara Long Couse Triathlon, Ventura Breath of Life Triathlon and Wildflower Olympic Triathlon in 2006.
Four-year track and cross country standout at Penn State • Two-time all-region selection • 2004 IC4A cross country individual champion • Posted a mile PR of 4:01 • Placed third in the Big Ten and second at the Penn Relays Championship of America in the steeplechase in 2005 • Swam for two years in high school.
Enjoys riding motorcycles, surfing, skimboarding and listening to music • Walked on at Penn State as a freshman and as a senior was the team's top scorer in cross country and top finishing distance runner at the Big Ten outdoor championships • Moved to Los Angeles after graduating from Penn State to begin triathlon career.
