Get to know Brady: After receiving his first compound bow at the age of 7, Ellison killed a bear while bow hunting at age 11; the bear now serves as a rug in his father’s home. Ellison was nicknamed “The Pup” when he first moved to the Olympic Training Center because he was the youngest member on the team. Ellison had Perthes disease as a child, which required him to wear leg braces for more than a year. Professional bull rider Lane Frost is his idol.
