(Silver Medal). 2009 – Parapan American Championship in Montreal, Canada (Gold Medal). 2007 – Parapan American Games in Rio de Janiero, Brazil (Silver Medal). 2006 – Sitting World Championship in Roermond, Netherlands (ninth). 2004 – Paralympic Games in Athens, Greece (sixth). 2003 – Parapan American Games in Edmonton, Alberta (Gold Medal).

INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS: 2012 – Took over as team captain in 2012... Was a member of the team that finished eighth at the Intercontinental Cup in Cairo, Egypt. The tournament was the team's last chance to qualify for the 2012 Paralympic Games. 2011 – Was part of the U.S. Men's Sitting team that finished eigth place at the 2011 Continental Cup in Kettering, England... Competed in May with the U.S. Men’s Sitting Team in the Sarajevo Open in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Eric was part of the team that competed in two exhibition matches against Canada in a joint training camp that won both matches. 2010 – Eric started in all 26 matches for the U.S. Men at the Sitting World Championships. He led team with 77 points, 2.96 points per set. He was also the team leader in service aces with six, kills with 63 and kills per set with 2.74.

PERSONAL: Born Eric Thomas Duda in 1981 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.... Parents are Norbert and Denyse Duda... Also has one sister, Natalie Matthias... Graduated from the University of Florida in May 2004 with a bachelor's degree in sports management... Captain of the Florida men's club volleyball team in 2002 and 2003... Duda joined the United States Paralympic Standing Team in 1999 and later served as team captain and competed at the 2002 World Championships in Poland... He joined the U.S. Men's Sitting Volleyball Team in 2003... He has played eight years of classical piano, seven years of percussion and competed in archery for two years-all without fingers on his left hand... Eric is a member of the resident team at the University of Central Oklahoma... Before moving to UCO, Eric served as a volunteer assistant coach for the volleyball team at the University of Florida while earning a bachelor's degree in sports management... Named USA Volleyball's Male Paralympic Athlete of the Year for 2009... Has served as a volunteer assistant coach for the women's volleyball team at Central Oklahoma. Also coaches for Oklahoma Peak Performance... Coached women's volleyball at Redlands Community College in Oklahoma.
