Davis won the all-around at the 2008 Gymnix International and took second on balance beam. She finished fourth in the junior all-around at the 2007 Visa Championships. Davis is coached by 1991 world all-around champion Kim Zmeskal-Burdette.
Davis is the daughter of Peggy and John Davis, and has an older brother, John, who is a gymnastics coach. Her dad, who is a homebuilder, lives at their home in the Austin area while she trains in Coppell. Davis also has a Yorkshire Terrier named Abigail and a cat named Tiger Lilly. |
