Olympic Experience: 
  • New York City Marathon 2010, experienced first marathon and witnessed Sally Meyerhoff finish 27th overall in 2:41, placing 10th in the USA Championship Division
  • Became inspired by Meyerhoff after she was tragically killed months short of her goal of competing at the London 2012 Olympic Games
Sporting Career Highlights:
  • High School cross-country ... lettered four years ... earned cross country All-America honors at the 2005 Junior Olympics ... 2006 state champion in the indoor 1,500-meter run 
  • 2008 Outdoor Nike National Championships ... named an All-American in the distance medley relays
  • Collegiate Cross-Country ... earned All-Big East honors for 4x800-meter relay team in 2011 ... named All-ECAC for the 4x800 in 2012 ... named American Eagle Outfitters BIG EAST Institutional Female Scholar-Athlete Award in recognition of hard work and excellence on the athletic field and in the classroom
Fun Facts:
Has been running for 11 years … received a full scholarship to St. John’s University for cross-country and track & field in the Big East from 2008-2012 … is currently in law school in Boston … the 2013 NYC Marathon was her first marathon

Was inspired to run for Team USA because she always had a passion for running and wanted to be part of a running community that was working toward a common goal of supporting U.S. Olympians and Paralympians as they prepare for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio
