Congratulations to Anthony Corrao, of Apex, NC and to the 2012 USARS JR Men’s Inline Hockey Team USA, on winning the Bronze Medal at the 2012 FIRS World Inline Hockey Championship in Bucaramanga, Colombia, June 30 – July 8. This was his first year playing for the JR Men’s Team USA and representing Team USA at the World Championships. Anthony is currently a senior at Apex High school, and currently skates for USA clinics in Alkali, NC. An interesting fact about Anthony is that he is an avid bowler.

Who is the person you most admire/greatest influence in your life and why: I would have to say my brother and father. Michael has always been there for me and I can talk to him about anything and he makes me want to be a better person. My dad because he has shown me what hard work and dedication can do for a person who strives to attain it. He has taught me the value of being on a team and being a team player.

Anything else you would like us to know about you: That I am so excited about this chance to play in South America. Its like one of my dreams, to play in another country. I am just so excited about meeting new people and seeing how others live. And playing with some awesome teams is going to be a major wow moment for me.
