GOAL HIGHLIGHTS

Life Goals:
I only really have one goal in life, and that is to be a firefighter. I want to be that person’s hero, the light in their darkest hour. Imagine being trapped in a room full of smoke, alone, and afraid. You would feel all hope is lost, but I would risk everything to get you out. I wouldn’t care what it would take, I understand the risks that come with walking into a burning building, even if it’s for someone I have never met, even if it meant giving my last breath, I will save that person. That is my goal.

Future goals you hope to obtain as a hockey player: To move up from the minors to the pros for the Oakland Goodlife AIHL team. Continue to play for the Senior Women’s World team in future years and continue to play for the San Jose Lady Sharks Ice hockey team. I would also like to try out for the Stockton Thunder or San Francisco Bulls Ice Hockey teams and potentially break the gender barrier in the NHL.

Favorite sports figure: Arturs Irbe

Favorite food before a competition: Mint Cliff Bar

Favorite music to listen to during training or competition: Anything that gets me pumped

If you could pick one word to describe you, what would it be: strong

What makes you a unique and special person:
What makes me unique is that I tend to listen more than talk. Everybody just needs someone to talk to, perhaps because they had a bad day or because things just aren’t going right, or maybe even just for advice. I tend to be the person everyone comes to if there ever was an issue for anything so I find that is what makes me unique.

Who is the person you most admire/greatest influence in your life and why:

I admire my mother the most. She has gone through so much in such a short period of time, but she still managed to pick herself up and carry on. To me that is very inspirational because most people just give up when things get rough.
