Fun Facts: Berenyi first fell in love with cycling in the early 90’s and found success in a handful of amateur races, but in 1994 he put his bike away when a construction accident cost him his right arm and left kneecap. Nearly 13 years later, Berenyi decided to join some of his neighbors for a ride, and from there his love of cycling was reignited. Berenyi only had three years of experience riding at the national level when he went on to win three medals and set a world record at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. Berenyi and his wife Jill have three daughters, Sydney, Gwen and Tatum.
