Bryan Berghorn began the sport of bobsled in 1998 as a member of the junior bobsled program in Lake Placid, N.Y. He competed on his high school nordic ski and golf teams, and enjoys spending his free time driving, hiking, golfing and sleeping. 

Berghorn is the son of Chuck and Kathy.  Chuck is a former ski jumper, and Kathy is an entrepreneur.

- Adirondack Club Champion age 18
- First North Americas Cup race age 19 (5th Place)
- Utah Winter Games Champion age 24
