Personal: Ballou started playing soccer when he was 3 years old, and played on his high school varsity team. He has cerebral palsy as a result of a pediatric stroke when he was six months old. He started playing seven-a-side in 2007 after getting invited to train with the national team. At the time, he was only 14-years-old. In the summer of 2014, Ballou was an intern for the U.S. State Department at the Embassy in Madrid, Spain. He also spent a semester abroad, studying in Salamanca, Spain. While there, he traveled to 15 different countries....Son of John and Melissa Ballou…Has three sisters, Kelsey, Haley, and Courtney…Enjoy hanging out at the beach with friends, hiking, skiing, camping, reading and traveling the world.
