The NGB Best Practices Seminar was established to help foster valuable working relationships among the National Governing Bodies and the United States Olympic Committee. The seminar allows individuals from various NGBs to collaborate among themselves on best-practice standards that work for them.
The NGB Best Practices Seminar is for NGB chief executive officers, NGB executive directors, NGB legal counsel and other NGB employees who may benefit from the event. The seminar covers various topics on best practices, such as governance, athlete issues, marketing, selection procedures, SafeSport, risk management, arbitrations and anti-doping. Guest speakers provide information on the topics covered. Additionally, materials are distributed to the attendees and then posted on TeamUSA.org at the conclusion of the seminar.
